Terms governing access to and use of College Without Cost educational services.
Please retain a copy of this document for your records.
Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing or using the services, you acknowledge these Terms. When an authenticated acceptance flow is presented, the checkbox states: “I agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge that I have reviewed the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer.” Acceptance is recorded only when the backend saves the applicable document version, authenticated user identifier, and acceptance timestamp. Marketing consent is separate and optional.
Eligibility, Age, and Guardian Involvement
If you are under the age of majority where you live, use paid College Without Cost services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Accounts and Security
Provide accurate information, protect account access, and notify CWC of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by law.
Permitted Educational Use
CWC grants a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to access purchased content for personal educational use.
Prohibited Conduct
- Reselling, scraping, reproducing, publishing, or distributing paid content.
- Circumventing access controls or interfering with the service.
- Using the service unlawfully, deceptively, or to harm others.
- Uploading malicious code, impersonating another person, or submitting content you lack permission to use.
Academic Integrity and AI Use
Follow all applicable school policies. Do not use CWC or AI tools to cheat, plagiarize, misrepresent authorship, impersonate another person, or submit prohibited AI-generated work. Independently verify AI output and do not enter highly sensitive personal information.
Intellectual Property and User Submissions
CWC and its licensors retain ownership of the site, course, tools, branding, and original content. You retain ownership of eligible content you submit and grant CWC only the permissions reasonably necessary to host, process, moderate, and display it for the feature you choose. Do not submit confidential material, third-party content without permission, or a testimonial you do not authorize CWC to use.
Third-Party Links and Services
Third-party providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. CWC does not control or guarantee their availability, accuracy, transferability, eligibility rules, or suitability.
Purchases, Payments, Course Access, and Refunds
Purchase terms, access period, pricing, and payment-provider terms presented at checkout control the transaction. The Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms. Confirm the current terms at checkout before purchasing.
Suspension and Termination
CWC may restrict or terminate access for security threats, access-control circumvention, unlawful conduct, nonpayment, or material breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.
Disclaimers of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available.” CWC does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, academic credit, admission, savings, employment, investment performance, or any particular result.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CWC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for losses resulting from reliance on estimates, third-party information, service interruptions, or decisions made using the services. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses arising from your unlawful use of the services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW STATE], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in the courts with lawful jurisdiction unless the parties agree to another permitted process.
Changes to the Terms
CWC may publish revised versions with a new version number and date. Material changes may require notice or affirmative re-consent through an implemented server-side process.
